A 15-year-old boy killed after being hit by a train has been named.
William Tweed, from Ingatestone, in Essex, died on Thursday afternoon following the collision near to the village’s train station.
Police and paramedics were called at around 4.35pm and the incident sparked major disruption during rush-hour between London Liverpool Street and Chelmsford.

A spokesman for British Transport Police said: “Specialist officers are supporting William’s family and work is on-going to establish how he came to be on the tracks.
“William’s family has requested that they are allowed the privacy and space to grieve and come to terms with his death. William’s death is not being treated as suspicious.”
