Karen Elson - the British supe, singer, actress - is the stunning spring cover girl for the Harper's Bazaar May issue. The redhead talks her children, Scarlett and Henry Lee, her amicable divorce from musician Jack White and her second album. And SWOON...
Fashion just got floral in a big way and this shoot by photographer Alexi Lubomirski, styled by Leith Clark, is the epitome of feminine beauty with Elson wearing an array of Erdem, Alexander McQueen and Chanel.
On her divorce with Jack White, she told the magazine: "I think we both have a healthy amount of respect for each other and that guides everything. But it's not without its hard work. I've got friends who have been through terrible divorces. It's awful. I'm not saying it isn't."
She continues: "At the end of the day, Jack is always going to be in my life, and I in his. Like Meg [White Stripes band member and Jack's ex-wife] has always been in Jack's... I adore Meg. But, of course, being close can create problems for others. It's not particularly easy for the new people who want to go out with us to know that we are still good friends..."
Elson is certainly embracing spring - new season, new start, new album... new self? Discussinf womanhood she revealed: "I know I am a much better woman in my thirties. I've overcome so much, shaken off so much self-doubt. I'm like, 'God, my life is just starting now.' I have full faith in the second half of my life. I think I'll be a fun 60-year-old. I'm going to be really young at heart. My kids will be rolling their eyes but they'll know that their mum loves life."
She's a lover of life, a fabulous fashion muse and a super-cool mama of two - our type of woman.
