Dr. Mike Wyllie is a man on a mission, a mission to eradicate erectile dysfunction.
In the 90s he was part of a team dedicated to helping men everywhere get it up and get it on. The fruit of their endeavour was Viagra. And it appears their work was popular. The drug now rakes in £1.3 billion a year worldwide, according to the Daily Mail.
But it seems once a sexual philanthropist, always a sexual philanthropist.
Not content only with getting everyone hard, he set about developing a medicine to keep it that way, for as long as possible.
The result? A penis-numbing spray called Tempe, made from two anaesthetics to delay ejaculation and prolong sex. What's more, it's been approved by the European Medicines Agency and could eventually be available on the NHS.
It's been reported that Dr. Wyllie *stifles giggle* received no royalties for his hand in creating the spray. Perhaps he's just happy in the knowledge he's spreading positive love vibrations, through the medium of good sex. What a guy!
