The Apprentice’ fans will be pleased to hear that there’s not long at all to wait until a whole new series kicks off on BBC One.

Lord Alan Sugar has confirmed on his Twitter page that he’s pulling out all the stops over the hunt for his latest business partner, which will launch in style later this month with a two-part series opener.

The entrepreneur and occasional Twitter-beef-starter revealed on Tuesday night:

He also thrilled fans of the show with the announcement that a special episode, in honour of the tenth anniversary of ‘The Apprentice’, will air the night before.

It will take viewers on a trip down memory lane and will feature some of the colourful characters that have been told “you’re fired!” throughout the show’s run.

We’re guessing Katie Hopkins, who is still dining out on the fact she’s “the only candidate to say no to Sir Alan” in her Twitter bio, could well be cropping up, but will notoriously publicity-shy Luisa Zissman be putting in an appearance too?

Luisa Zissman and Dr Leah Totton were finalists in 'The Apprentice' last year

Last year’s final of ‘The Apprentice’ saw Luisa going head-to-head with Dr Leah Totton, who was ultimately hired by Lord Sugar and opened her first clinic in January, offering facial treatments including Botox injections and facial peels.

Luisa hasn’t done too badly out of her time on the show either, raising quite a few eyebrows with her shenanigans in the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house and bagging a spot on the panel of the show’s spin-off series, ‘Bit On The Side’, later in the year.

And while she may now be known for her celebrity lifestyle rather than her baking, she did release a recipe book called ‘Wicked Cupcakes!’ this summer.

Don't miss the two-part 'Apprentice' launch, airing on 14 and 15 October at 9pm on BBC One.
