The Best Xbox Advert Ever Made Is This Unofficial Moving Short About A Father And Son

The best advert ever made for the Xbox is here, and it has absolutely nothing to do with Microsoft.

It's a beautifully moving 2min short by aspiring filmmaker John Wikstrom.

We would highly recommend watching it first before reading on as we'd hate to give too much away.

Needless to say it's touching homage both to fatherhood and the fragility of life. It's also completely true.

Wikstrom's idea for the short film came after he saw a particular comment underneath a video titled: Can Video Games Be A Spiritual Experience?

The comment moved Wikstrom so much that he felt he had to try and translate what he'd read onto the screen.

So he did just that, word for word.
