The Calls From Children The NSPCC Receive Every Hour During Lockdown
Children’s charity The NSPCC has seen an increase in the number of calls from children reporting problems at home since lockdown began. On average, the children’s charity receives contact from a youngster every hour. In one distressing call, a 10-year-old boy told Childline: “We should be allowed back to school now so my step-dad stops hitting mummy.”
