Created by John Koenig, The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows is "a compendium of invented words" that describe otherwise indescribable emotions.
Koenig creates a weekly YouTube video of a new word and also posts updates to Facebook and Twitter, as well as his website.
He regularly invites members of the public to send in descriptions of emotions they have been experiencing and offers to create a single word from them to "fill a hole in the language".
