'The Great British Bake Off' Trailer For New Series Sees Mary Berry Doing 'The Sound Of Music' (VIDEO)

Get bready! The return of ‘The Great British Bake Off’ is nearly upon us, and to celebrate, the BBC have debuted a fabulous new trailer promoting the new series.

With it’s ‘Sound Of Music’ theme, the new ad is a delicious slice of camp, as Mary Berry flails around a field in true Julie Andrews style.

But instead of the sound of music, it’s the smell of baking that’s livened up the hills, as the bomber jacket aficionado sings a very special version of ‘The Hills Are Alive’.

Her fellow judge Paul Hollywood and hosts Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins get in on the action too, with Paul brandishing a baguette and Mel doing her best ‘When Harry Met Sally’ impression over a fruit tart.

The hit cookery competition is set to return to BBC One later this summer, following the huge success of the last series, which saw over 12 million viewers tune in to see Nancy Birtwhistle crowned champion.
