'The Jump': Lydia Bright Swaps 'TOWIE' For The Slopes As She Signs Up For New Series

What has she let herself in for?

The line-up for the next series of ‘The Jump’ is really starting to take shape now, with ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ star Lydia Bright the latest name confirmed to be appearing on the notoriously-dangerous reality series.

Next year’s contestants are currently being revealed a few at a time, with Lydia now the seventh confirmed to be taking part.

She follows in the footsteps of her former ‘TOWIE’ co-stars Amy Childs, Joey Essex - who went on to win his series - and her ex-boyfriend James ‘Arg’ Argent, who have all appeared on ‘The Jump’ in the past.

In an interview with AOL Build, Spencer’s former co-stars admitted that while he’s never skied in the past, he’ll still be one to be reckoned with, due to his competitive nature.

Since then, two more names have been added to the line-up, in the form of model Vogue Williams and footballer Robbie Fowler.

The most recent series of ‘The Jump’ made headlines earlier this year when a whopping seven contestants were forced to pull out due to injuries sustained in training - most notably Olympian Beth Tweddle, who was required to have surgery on her neck.

‘Holby City’ actress Tina Hobley was also among those who had to pull out, revealing months later that she was even considering taking legal action against the show.

‘The Jump’ returns to Channel 4 in the new year.
