The results of the UK Michelin Guide 2014 were announced last week, 26 September 2013.
There are no changes at the 3 star level, meaning that Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester, Gordon Ramsay's Royal Hospital Road, The Fat Duck and The Waterside Inn remain as the only 3 Michelin Starred restaurants in the UK Michelin Guide 2014.
In the 2 Michelin star category, new restaurants in London to hit the mark include Dinner by Heston at the Mandarin Oriental in Knightsbridge and The Greenhouse in Mayfair.
There are a number of new 1 star restaurants in London including Jason Atherton's Social Eating House, Brasserie Chavot from chef Eric Chavot, Story in Bermondsey, HKK and Peruvian restaurant, Lima.
Other new one star restaurants include Bo London, Angler at the South Place Hotel and Outlaw's at The Capital Hotel. L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon has lost its second Michelin star.
In the Bib Gourmand category for good value, new winners include A.Wong, Grain Store, Gail's Kitchen and Polpo Smithfield.

Marcus Wareing at The Berkeley

The Ledbury
The Ledbury in Notting Hill, has become a bit of a place of pilgrimage for foodies. Run by Australian chef Brett Graham, whose selection of dishes will delight and entertain even the trickiest of customers. Many people think The Ledbury should be awarded a third Michelin star.
Hedone
Opened in July 2011 by self-taught chef Mikael Jonsson, Hedone instantly established itself on the London dining scene and gained its first Michelin Star in 2012 with a passionate chef who is led by a desire to source the very best ingredients.
HKK
The Hakkasan Group launched HKK London in late 2012 at Broadgate West in the City. The menu at HKK London takes you on a tour of some of Hakkasan's best bits but with a more delicate and refined take, particularly with the intricate presentation and more attentive service.
