While a few brands have recently shunned photoshop and supermodels in favour of including 'real women' in their ad campaigns, there aren't many modelling agencies prioritising personality over looks.
So, let's just take a moment to applaud the London-based girls who are doing just that.
After working in fashion and music for 10 years, Lucy Greene and Pandora Lennard founded the Anti-Agency in 2013. Their website makes the company's mission clear.
"Our models aren't just clothes horses; we focus on hand selecting London based girls and boys with personality, individual style and talent."
So - who can you expect to see on their books? Here's Arvida wearing a Meadham Kirchhoff dress...
And Ruby...
And Gabrielle...
The Anti-Agency is also one of the few where size and height don't matter. "We also don't do portfolios or 'books', Greene and Lennard told The Daily Beast.
"For us, models should get booked based on their personality, not based on a load of pictures of them dressed up in different ways."
Could this new way of thinking change the future of the modelling industry? Perhaps not right away, but the Anti-Agency's refreshing philosophy is most definitely a good start.
