Emma Willis has been announced as the sole presenter of 'The Voice' 2017, following its move to ITV.

However, it is bad news for her co-host Marvin Humes, who has failed to survive the talent show's departure from the BBC.

Emma has been at the helm of 'The Voice' since she and Marvin took over from Holly Willoughby and Reggie Yates in 2014, and said she was "delighted" to be asked to return.

She said in a statement: “'The Voice UK' is very close to my heart and I’m absolutely delighted to be back on the show. Roll on the blind auditions!”

Marvin also told HuffPost UK of his departure: "I’ve loved every minute of working on 'The Voice' for the past three series and will miss working with Emma and the team.

"It’s one of the best shows on TV and I'll definitely be tuning in to see the new series.

"I wish the new team the best of luck and look forward to working more with ITV in the near future"

It is currently unclear who will be on the coaching line-up when the show launches on ITV in January.

Will.i.am, Ricky Wilson, Paloma Faith and Boy George all served as coaches on the most recent series, which concluded on BBC One in April.

However, Paloma and George have both hinted that they will not be back for their second series, while Ricky previously claimed he would not make the jump to ITV, but has since backtracked on his decision.

Recent reports linked Sir Paul McCartney to a role, while another claimed bosses were eyeing up former judges Kylie Minogue and Sir Tom Jones to return alongside Black Eyed Peas frontman Will, alongside new coach Jennifer Hudson.

The nationwide search to find a unique singing talent is now underway, with producers’ auditions visiting six cities across the UK this Summer.

Undiscovered singers who want their voice to be heard are invited to apply to audition at www.itv.com/thevoiceuk.
