Tom Jones Has A Few (Four-Letter!) Words For 'The Voice'

Tom Jones definitely isn’t ready to forgive the BBC for the way they handled his departure from ‘The Voice’, launching another scathing attack on the network.

Specifically, he’s told them to “go and fuck themselves”. Nice.

After four years coaching on ‘The Voice’, it was confirmed back in August that Sir Tom had been ditched from the line-up of the BBC singing competition, and replaced by Culture Club frontman Boy George.

At the time, the Welsh crooner posted a statement hitting out at the BBC for not telling him the news of his sacking until one day before the official announcement.

And while his articulate and well-written Facebook post was fine and dandy, we must admit we’re more impressed with his latest statement.

In an interview with The Times, he admitted he “didn’t give a fuck” about ‘The Voice’ anymore, insisting: “I enjoyed it, but if they don’t want me any more, they can go fuck themselves.”

‘The Voice’ is currently filming its upcoming fifth series, with Paloma Faith also joining the line-up of coaches, replacing Rita Ora, who was poached by Simon Cowell to judge this year’s ‘X Factor’ instead.

However, it hasn’t been smooth sailing for the show so far.

Following the negative press that surrounded Sir Tom’s unceremonious departure, which he described as “sub-standard” behaviour, the show hit the headlines once again, for accidentally emailing all of this year’s applicants, telling them they weren’t through to the next round.

Reports also claimed that Boy George had Paloma Faith in tears at one point during the audition process, describing her as “bitchy”, “extremely rude” and accusing her of “probably having PMT or something”.
