'The Voice UK' Results: Jaz Ellington, Ruth Brown, Tyler James, Leanne Mitchell Through To Semi-Finals

THE VOICE: Tom And Will Lose Two Acts Each - Who Remains?

The Voice coaches Will.i.am and Tom Jones were forced to make tough decisions over who to keep on their team on Sunday night's show, after the audience's votes chose to keep Ruth Brown on Team Tom and Jaz Ellington on Team Will.

Deliberating over who would join his star singer Ruth in the semi-finals, Tom said: "Adam was great he's doing everything I've asked him to do and more, and the same with Matt and Sueleen...

"But based on Saturday's performances I must go with Leanne Mitchell."

Leanne gave a rousing rendition of Nina Simone's Put A Spell On You last night as well as singing Hit The Road Jack with the Welsh legend.

Speaking graciously reject Adam Isaac said: "Leanne has got an amazing voice."

Next it was down to Will to pick from his talented bunch of singers. He decided to send through Tyler James, whom he described as "Mr Cool" after his performance of Sign My Name by Terence Trent D'Arby and their group performance of Ray Charles' I Got a Woman, Kanye West's Golddigger and Depeche Mode's Just Can't Get Enough.

"It was just fantastic - I was proud of everybody... But, I'm preparing for battle, because I'm going up against Jessie, Tom and Danny, and I need somebody that is given any scenario and comes through with flying colours and goes in within himself and comes out still smooth and cool - and that's Tyler," he said.

The four acts sent home from the competition were Matt and Sueleen, Adam, Frances Wood and Joelle Moses.

The Sunday results show also featured a performance from the Scissor Sisters, who played their new single Only The Horses.
