Viewers were introduced to the 10-week-old labradoodle when Holly and Phil hosted their first show back, following their six-week summer break.

The adorable pup is actually the half-sister of This Morning’s previous guide dog puppy, Clover, who departed from the show earlier this summer, after completing her training.

Fans were given the chance to pick a name for the new pooch by tweeting their suggestions into the show, with Holly and Phil later revealing the most popular name was Luna.

And it wasn’t just the presenters who were cooing over the new arrival, with many people on Twitter unable to handle all the cuteness.

Luna will be appearing on ‘This Morning’ every Monday and Thursday as she goes through her training to become a fully-fledged guide dog.

This Morning’ airs weekdays at 10.30am on ITV.
