Three teenagers have been charged with the murder of a schoolboy who was found dead in a cemetery.
Jordan Watson, 14, was discovered in a secluded part of St John the Baptist Church cemetery in Carlisle, Cumbria, by a member of the public on Tuesday morning.
George Thomson, 18, Brahnn Finley, 19, and Daniel Johnston, also 19, all of Carlisle, were charged last night with his murder.
They will appear at Carlisle Magistrates' Court tomorrow, Cumbria Constabulary said.
A post-mortem examination revealed that Jordan, from Ridley Road in Carlisle, died from multiple wounds to the head and neck caused by a sharp implement.
His family paid tribute to the boy, who they said lived by the motto Yolo - "you only live once".
They said the Liverpool Football Club supporter, who had been a "loving and caring child", "would never walk alone".
In a statement issued by Cumbria Constabulary, the family said: "Jordan wasn't perfect, he was though the most loving and caring child that anyone could meet.
"He had the best sense of humour. Jordan's favourite expression was 'Yolo' - you only live once. Jordan lived by this motto, he had a strong personality and a love of the outdoors.
"Jordan could not be talked out of doing something he really wanted to do."
A 16-year-old arrested in connection with the killing on Thursday was released on police bail on Friday.
Detectives do not believe he was directly involved in the murder and police said he had co-operated "fully".
