Three teenagers charged with the murder of a schoolboy found dead in a cemetery have made their first appearance in court.
Jordan Watson, 14, was discovered in a secluded part of St John the Baptist Church cemetery in Carlisle, Cumbria, by a member of the public last Tuesday.
George Thomson, 18, Brahnn Finley, 19, and Daniel Johnston, also 19, all of Carlisle, were charged with his murder and appeared at a brief hearing at Carlisle Magistrates' Court today.
All three were remanded in custody until their next appearance at Carlisle Crown Court on Wednesday.
A post-mortem examination revealed that Jordan, from Ridley Road in Carlisle, died from multiple wounds to the head and neck caused by a sharp implement.
