Travelling hundreds of miles above the Earth's surface at a speed of over 17,000mph might mean that you're as far away from a Christmas tree as is probably possible but that doesn't mean the crew of the International Space Station won't be celebrating the festive season.
ISS Commander Scott Kelly along with astronauts Tim Peake and Tim Kopra have recorded a Christmas message from the space station wishing everyone back on Earth a very happy holiday.
Scott Kelly is now one of NASA's most veteran astronauts having spent well over a year in space. Accompanying him is the UK's first official astronaut Tim Peake who arrived just days ago.
