Earlier this week we looked at what Madame Tussauds has to offer for an Easter day out. And if you're planning a trip to London over this spring break, many of the capital's attractions are running special Easter events to make your trip that bit more fun. Here are some of the highlights:

For older children, forget fluffy Easter Bunnies, because the Beaster Bunny is on the loose at The London Dungeon from 2-18 April. He's 6ft tall, foaming at the mouth and very angry because someone's stolen his chocolate. But apparently tasty little children will do instead, so if your family's driving you mad over the school holidays, threaten them with a visit here.
The Sea Life London Aquarium is hosting a Crocodile Weekend over Easter, with special croc-themed activities. There's also a new Rainforests of the World area, where you can meet over 3000 of the rainforests' most famous and feared residents from a pair of 6ft West African Dwarf crocodiles to a family of highly toxic Poison Arrow Frogs and over 30 lethal piranhas.
And when you're stopping for lunch, Planet Hollywood is planning a special Scooby Doo Weekend from 2-5 April. To celebrate the release of the new feature length animated movie "Scooby-Doo! Abracadabra Doo" on DVD, kids eating at Planet Hollywood, along London's Haymarket, can enjoy a magical, mystery Scooby Doo Easter experience including Scooby Snacks, fun puzzles, crosswords, film clips and special Mystery Inc. action figures to take away. On Saturday 3 April (12.30pm-4.30pm) Scooby Doo himself will be making a special appearance to join the fun and say hello to all his fans.
For those seeking more traditional entertainment, Zippos Circus will be based at Blackheath in London from 1-13 April, and this year's show features acrobats, clowns and Palomino ponies.
If the weather's good, a trip on a riverboat down the Thames can be a great way to see many famous London sights at once. City Cruises offer an all day family ticket, so you can hop on and off wherever you want. Much less stressful than the Tube!
The Kitchen at Parson's Green in South West London is offering special cooking classes for children over the Easter holidays, suitable for ages 4 to 9.
