In this particular case, a little girl found the allure of a washing machine too exciting to resist and so she climbed inside – and got stuck...for more than an hour.
The two-year-old girl became wedged in the drum of the machine at her parents' home in Hohhot, northern China.
After desperate attempts by her family to free her, they were left with no choice but to call the fire brigade.
