Microsoft has announced that the next Tomb Raider video game will be an Xbox exclusive.
As in, it's not coming out on PS4.
The announcement was made at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany, and will likely prove controversial given Sony's next-gen console has so far roundly outsold Microsoft's Xbox One.
Microsoft added the game will be out 'Holidays 2015' which means late autumn.
'Rise of the Tomb Raider' was announced at E3 and will continue the rebooted story of Lara Croft which began with 2013's Tomb Raider, and was very well received.
Crystal Dynamics studio head Darrell Gallagher said:
"We believe this will be a step to really forging the Tomb Raider brand as one of the biggest in gaming, with the help, belief, and backing of a major partner like Microsoft."
