The line-up includes strappy heeled sandals, block heel mules and toe loop flats – a more fashionable flip flop if you will – all handmade in Spain, using 100% non-animal and non-fish glue materials.
A neutral palette continues to be the colour of choice for the fashion crowd, Topshop’s new fancy footwear features (faux) snake skin, nudes, toffee, orange and white throughout the collection. And it’s not just the shoes that are vegan – each pair comes in a box that’s also free from any animal products.
Topshop’s fashion director, Maddy Evans, revealed in a press release that there’s more to come. “Initially we’re focusing on footwear that are produced alongside our premium shoe line sin Spain, We can’t wait to see how shoppers respond to the design-led collection and how far we can push vegan products across our accessories offering.”
Available online now and in selected stores across the UK and Ireland, the collection ranges from £42 to £59 in sizes 3 to 8, which for a go-to pair of sandals that will last you long past the summer, isn’t bad at all.
