Tottenham Hotspur have a new Under Armour kit and a new sponsor in Hewlett Packard, but more importantly for Spurs fans the club feel confident enough to have Gareth Bale model the new strip.
Bale was at the official launch of the new garb alongside teammates Brad Friedel, Michael Dawson and Jermain Defoe on Monday, as the players prepare for their pre-season schedule.
Bale has not appeared in rumour mill round-ups as often as he had been over the last fortnight (they have Wimbledon to thank for that), and his public modelling will be heartening for Spurs supporters.
And what of the kit? The design is mercifully retro but the HP logo seems incongruous and the "Under Armour" lettering on the sleeves is superfluous.
There's also a tenuous connection to the Spurs Pony kit of the late 90s.
Back then, Christian Gross' Lilywhites were sponsored by Packard Bell as Jürgen Klinsmann returned midway through the 1997-98 season to keep Tottenham on the Premier League.
