Next time the Tube doors open, you may want to think twice before rushing to get yourself a seat.
A recent (not-so scientific) experiment has revealed just how much dirt and grime travels around with us on the London Underground.
Timeout travelled all over the city, armed with a hammer, to literally beat the seats and dislodge brown clouds of dust.
And with four million people riding the tube all day, God only knows where that dust has come from. *shudders*
Suddenly walking or cycling seems much more appealing, wouldn't you say?
