Tulisa Contostavlos Confirms Split From 'Skins' Star Jack O'Connell

The X Factor's Tulisa Contostavlos has confirmed she has split from boyfriend Jack O'Connell.

The Young hitmaker took to Twitter to confirm reports that their three-month romance with the actor is over, claming it was a "mutal decision".

She tweeted: "4 the record I didn't dump any1, it was a mutual decision with no hard feelings n that's all there is 2 it.

"Now then! Take off time! Bring on the fun woooiiiiiii #mischievousmosser."

According to The Mirror, she flew into Bulgaria to see Jack last week to deliver the news.

A source told the newspaper: "Jack is filming the new 300 sequel in eastern Europe and will be there until November. He isn't able to travel to the UK at all, as filming schedules are so tight. This meant Tulisa was flying backwards and forwards to Bulgaria - as well as fulfilling her X Factor duties. A long-distance relationship just wasn't working so the pair sat down together over dinner, and talked it through like adults."

It's been something of a rollercoaster year for the beleaguered star - she's enjoyed some pop success as a solo singer, but her chart glory has been tempered by her leaked sex tape and now her new heartbreak.

Not that she has any regrets - she told Top of the Pops earlier this year: "I could sit all day long saying I wish I'd never done this or met that person but at the end of the day, with the position I'm in, I can't exactly complain. Everything's taken me to the place that I'm in and made me the person I am. It just makes you stronger, doesn't it?
