Tonight's big hitter is Episode 2 of The Fall, the Belfast-based crime procedural which has settled happily into the hole left in our hearts by 'Broadchurch'.
Tonight finds our serene serial killer Paul Spector (Jamie Dornan) out on another busy night shift, pausing this time to bathe his victim and snip a lock of her hair with chillingly tender care.
None of which Detective Superintendent Stella Gibson (Gillian Anderson) is aware of, because she's a bit busy herself, entertaining a copper in Room 203, fulfilling the offer of hospitality she dished out last week.
Turns out he's not any old plod, either, but an ambitious detective constable with a controversial case of his own. And guess what, it turns out there's the sniff of corruption in the offing to boot.
