Uber has been giving out free rides to drunken revelers in Toronto as part of its 'Uber Safe' campaign to discourage people from drink driving.
Appearing in the form of a stand alone kiosk in the street, Uber Safe asks that people take a breathalyser test and then if they're over the limit, the kiosk would book them a free ride home.
It's unlikely that the technology would be rolled out elsewhere (it would cost Uber a fortune), but it is a really cool way of showing that getting home safely is easier than ever, whether it's using Uber or any other app-based taxi service.
