Students at UCL woke up to a rather large surprise in their inbox this morning after their university's email system was hacked and 3,136 emails were sent out.
No-one's quite sure why the university's provost was targeted late on Wednesday night, or indeed what "bello" means, but sure enough a hashtag was born - and is still trending this morning.
It all started when an email was sent by someone imposing as Provost Michael Arthur to all 26,000 students simply saying "bello!".
It inspired a whirlwind of memes, Twitter accounts and reply alls, and the rest is history..
