A six-week-old baby is among 404 more people who have died in UK hospitals after contracting coronavirus over the last 24 hours.
The increase consists of 322 in England, 49 in Scotland, 5 in Northern Ireland and 28 in Wales.
Patients were aged between six weeks and 103 years old. 22 of the 332 patients (aged between 40 and 96 years old) had no known underlying health condition.
So far, no UK-wide figures from the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) have been released, so the total is taken from each nation’s individual reporting.
It brings the working total to 31,019
