While opinion was divided over Ellie Goulding's RACY gold dress on Sunday night's X Factor, there was no arguing over the fact that Nicole Scherzinger looked TOTALLY amazing in her black velvet number.
The judge just killed it in the high-necked number that featured a sexy thigh-high split showing off Nic's nauseatingly perfect pins.
The dress also featured sheer lace side panels and a cutout laddered back. And not only was the frock stunning, but the styling was flawless, too. Nic's elegant updo ensured she was super-chic, and funky earrings and metallic heels kept the look edgy and youthful.
It's rare you ever see Nicole looking bad - she's recently wowed in over-knee boots, and in another amazing velvet gown at the Pride of Britain Awards - but THIS is something extra-special.
