Vicky Pattison Lined Up For New 'I'm A Celebrity' Role

But she won't be a campmate this time around...

Reigning 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' champion Vicky Pattison is being lined up for a sensational return to the jungle.

According to reports, the former 'Geordie Shore' star is set to replace Laura Whitmore on ITV2 spin-off show, 'Get Me Out Of Here! NOW!'.

Despite having little presenting experience, bosses think Vicky, who now serves as a 'Loose Women' panellist, would be perfect to front the programme alongside Joe Swash.

Laura announced she was leaving the show after five years at the helm earlier this month.

She said in a statement: “After 5 incredible series working with my extended 'I’m A Celeb' family, I’ve taken the rough decision to hang up my jungle boots.

“It’s been such a wonderful experience but I feel it’s time to move on. I wish the team well and look forward to tuning in later this year as well as continuing to work with ITV on other shows.”

She took over from previous host Caroline Flack in 2011, when she quit to join 'The Xtra Factor'.

Katie Price has since thrown her hat into the ring to replace Laura, and shocked fans when she said she wanted to present the show alongside ex-husband Peter Andre, who she met when they were both contestants on 'I'm A Celebrity' in 2004.

The new series of the jungle-based reality show is expected to begin in November on ITV.
