If fashion calls then Victoria Beckham is there in a flash, so the mum-of-four was in Paris on Friday in the name of a meet and greet event at Printemps department store.
As per, Mrs B was dressed in elegantly understated style in pieces from her recently presented Victoria Beckham AW14 Collection She'd opted for a simple form-fitting black knit, chic pleated midi skirt with neon pink waistband, for a flash of colour, and oversized Aviators to add a touch of nonchalance. But there's one detail that left us a little unsure - her thick grey tights and strappy heels combo.
Now, VB knows more than a thing or two about how to dress season-appropriately, given that she's responsible for designing a collection to suit each half of the year, but we're not sure we're convinced by her latest layering technique. Is sandals and tights up there with socks and sandals? Ie. a categorical fashion no-no.
Well, we're going to reason that if VB is doing it it must be pretty legit. We're all for anything that helps us stay toasty, after all.
Out come those summery heels from the back of the wardrobe; we'll just be sure to check for ladders in the toes of our tights, too.
