Last week, Vogue Paris hopped the pond to attend New York Fashion Week and bring you the top styles from the Big Apple for the Fall/Winter 2013-2014 season.
With Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2013-2014 in full swing, the trends for next season are starting to pop out. In New York we saw a metamorphosis of peplums, heavy, large-lapelled coats, belted and cinched waists, various military inspirations, and power looks for women. On the Alexander Wang catwalk, knits were embellished with sequins that were also later used to create clever patterns seen at Marc Jacobs and Michael Kors. Prabal Gurung and Victoria Beckham presented strong, powerful separates and dresses for women, while Diane von Furstenberg and Donna Karan went back to the basics that brought them success.
