Michelle Keegan has been nursing a secret heartache - she reportedly dumped Wanted hunk Max George two weeks ago.
Max and Michelle called off their engagement in April, but still insisted they were very much in love. However, it has been revealed that they have indeed broken up.
The heartbreaking news comes after the singer was spotted kissing a pretty fan earlier this week.
A spokesman for Max said: "He and Michelle are no longer together. They have been separated for a number of weeks, but hoped to keep this a private matter.”
The Coronation Street beauty had continued to keep up the pretense that they were still in a relationship when the pictures surfaced, claiming: "He even gets kissed when I’m with him... I don’t mind. When you go out with someone in one of the biggest boy-bands in Britain you have to expect this sort of thing. It happens all the time, even when I’m with him. Women just rush up and kiss him. I’m relaxed about it. Blokes do it to me too. It comes with the job.”
According to The Mirror, Max told friends that Michelle dumped him two weeks ago.
At the time of the saucy snap, Max's spokesman insisted his client was the victim, adding: “The Wanted have an incredibly passionate fan base. At times the fans can be over-eager when they meet them, especially in a club or bar. In this case Max was approached and got more than he bargained for.”
The couple met at the end of 2010, and went public with their relationship two months later.
