The Warwick University women rowers are back with their annual naked charity calendar and it is amazing.
Not only have the girls stripped off to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support, but they are sharing the message that women’s bodies - whatever size or shape - are something to be celebrated.
They want to counteract the images of “size zero” models that young girls are bombarded with everyday.
Calendar co-ordinator Sophie told The Tab: “This is an unrealistic portrayal of the female body and through our images we hope to inspire confidence in others by showing that all shapes and sizes are beautiful.
“These girls train twice daily and their bodies reflect that.”
It is the third time the rowers have created a charity calendar for Macmillan.
However, the women have faced controversy in the past for their fundraising.
In 2014, Facebook removed their calendar from the site, calling the images “pornographic”.
Here’s hoping this year the calendar will be celebrated as it should be.
It is set to be released on November 14.
