It gets lonely in space, so as could be expected, astronauts end up playing with themselves. Satoshi Furukawa's one man baseball game on the international space station has become a viral video sensation.
The astronaut can be seen pitching, hitting and catching the ball in the zero gravity environment.
The new space games is one small step to keep the astronauts from going loopy during their ?? day stay on the station.
Furukawa landed back on earth with the Soyuz crew on November 23. Along with fellow astronauts Mike Fossum and Sergei Volkov, he landed on the frozen Kazakh step, and was greeted by a Russian ground crew with warm blankets.
