WHO? Olivier Theyskens for Theory

IN A NUTSHELL: Theyskens possesses a unique vision that is at once rebellious, minimalist and glamorous - and that was exactly what he delivered today. With Missy Elliot's She's a Bitch blaring, it felt like all of spring's optimism had been obliterated in favour of something much more broody and moody. Put another way, this was a Park Avenue princess doing her best to p*ss off her parents by listening to hip hop, smudging her makeup, tearing her expensive dress and getting an inappropriate boyfriend (ideally one with a motorbike).

BEG, BORROW OR STEAL: After seasons of skinny and tapered silhouettes, we love the slouchy darted denim jeans and shorts, as well as the mannish two-button wool coats, wide-shouldered blazers and chunky jumpers. These androgynous pieces were countered with plenty of Theyskens sparkle, from collarless lame jackets chucked over a T-shirt, to delicately embellished sheer dresses and crumpled duchesse satin ballgowns, worn with plenty of attitude.

F-ROW: Julianne Moore, Coco Rocha and Anna Wintour made a formidable line-up.

VERDICT: There's always something effortlessly cool about Theyskens' mix of androgyny and high octane glamour, and this season certainly delivered. This autumn we want to be a Theyskens girl - now we just need to find a boyfriend with a motorbike...
