Stoke City's trips to West Ham United are synonymous with Ricardo Fuller. A useful Premier League striker for the Potters, the Jamaican arguably experienced the worst and best moments of his career at Upton Park.
Three days after Christmas in 2008, Fuller's holiday blues got bluer when he was sent off for slapping team-mate Andy Griffin after Carlton Cole had equalised for the Hammers. Despite seeing red, he continued to gesticulate at Griffin to add to the tragicomedy of it all, compounded when Stoke went on to lose the game.
But he made amends the next season. Fourteen months and 30 days after his petulance at the Boleyn Ground he returned to score an ingenious individual winner at the Centenary Stand in front of the away supporters.
Tony Pulis won't have Fuller to call on this evening however. The 33-year-old joined Charlton Athletic in the summer on a free transfer.
