Growing an online business is such a rewarding experience. Creating online coaching and training programmes is a brilliant way to make a living.
It involves putting yourself out there and being brave because you need to create webinars, videos and podcasts.
And that's why most people will never do it.
The mind monkeys in their head are jumping around yelling 'What will people think?'
Pesky critters.
This is perfectly normal though, it happens to every coach at some point - usually when they first start out. It's human nature to fear being judged.
Women, particularly, worry that they will be seen to be getting 'too big for their boots' (gasp!) and are terribly preoccupied by what their friends and family will think.
The trouble is that all the time you're worrying and fretting, you're not putting yourself out there and you're not making any money.
You're also not helping all of those people who could benefit from your knowledge and experience. Which isn't fair.
Can you imagine if Mother Theresa or Martin Luther King were worried about what people might think?
They each had their calling and they carried on regardless of what people thought.
Imagine if every coach thought the way you think - we'd have no coaches, no-one to show us the way.
And we need people to show us the way.
You are here to show someone the way. You have a duty and a calling. You are an expert and you have knowledge and experience to share, that will help many people.
And you can't do that if you're always worrying about what people might think.
The only person whose opinion you need to consider is that of your ideal client. And you already know they love you because they are a perfect fit for you.
So I'm giving you a kick up the bum and telling you to get over it.
You need to be brave, put on your big girl panties and start to get your message and your teachings out into the world.
You can't build a business without doing it so you may as well start now. Off you go!
