Father's Day this year falls on June 15. Father's Day was originally introduced to complement Mother's Day (which is traditionally celebrated in March).
While the way we celebrate differs family to family, on average we spend a whopping £32 million on Father's Day cards and £10 each on presents.
But is seems dads aren't really that fussed if you don't make a last dash to the card shop - or brave a crafting hour with your kids. In a recent survey, more than 60 per cent of dads actually said that their ideal gift would be a day out with the family.
