It’s been three years since the world woke up to the news that Whitney Houston had died.

The 48-year-old singer was found dead in the bathtub of luxury suite number 434 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Saturday 11 February 2012, just hours before she was due to attend and perform at a pre-Grammys party at the same hotel.

At her peak in the 1980s and 1990s, Whitney was the golden girl of the music industry and one of the world's best-selling artists.

Her biggest hits included ‘How Will I Know’, ‘Saving All My Love For You’, 'My Love Is Your Love' and’ I Will Always Love You’.

She won multiple Grammys including album and record of the year and her success carried her beyond music to movies like ‘The Bodyguard’.
