German-born actress Diane Kruger has quashed reports she and her longterm boyfriend Joshua Jackson are engaged. In fact, she's adamant she won't ever get married.
Just last month the 37-year-old was photographed with a particularly eye-catching sparkler on her ring finger, sending the gossip mill into serious overdrive.
Even Team MyDaily has picked out a dress on Diane's behalf.
However, turns out she's not about to waltz down the aisle and what's more she's not really into weddings at all.
In an interview with The Times Diane explained how the breakdown of her first marriage to French actor Guillaume Canet has put her off holy matrimony altogether.
"I feel like I've gotten engaged 10 times over the past year... I'm not so into marriage, I don't have the dream of the white dress... I do believe in the commitment and the romance and the idea that there is one person for you..."
However, she admitted she does dream of starting a family with her actor beau, explaining: "I didn't think I wanted kids until a couple of years ago.
"Now I hope it is for me, but who knows. By the time I really try, maybe it won't happen."
But Diane isn't the only celeb who's so not into getting hitched. Kourtney Kardashian - who recently confirmed she's expecting her third child with partner Scott Disick - doesn't plan on becoming a wife.
And famously, Oprah Winfrey is keen to steer clear too. The talk show host has been dating businessman Stedman Graham since 1986, but the pair have chosen not to take the plunge.
During an interview on ITV's Lorraine she confessed: "I'm not a traditional woman and I haven't had a traditional life, and I think that had Stedman and I gotten married, we certainly wouldn't have stayed married."
