Wedding pictures are a bloody kerfuffle at the best of times, but this bride and groom may have just taken the biscuit.

If we're honest, we're always plotting new and super fun ways to ensure, when it's our time to tie the knot, our wedding photos will be plain freakin' awesome.

The same must have been going through newlyweds Dan and Jackie's heads when they decided to pose for a snap alongside their many ushers and bridesmaids on an iffy-looking pier.

Note to all brides and grooms-to-be: do not, we repeat, do not take your wedding photos over, by or anywhere near water. Let the following video be a lesson to you all.

Okay, okay so you knew they were going to fall in, we'll give you that. But did the knowledge make it any less funny? Didn't think so.

At this point we've got to hand it to the lucky bridesmaid who stayed closest to dry land (we like her even more than the maid of honour who rapped her wedding breakfast speech).

She probably thought she'd been given the cold shoulder when she was plonked on the end of the line up. Turns out it was the safest position.
