'Will And Grace' Full Reunion 'In Talks', After Success Of Online Episode

Honey... what's going on, what's happening here, what is this?

Good news for anyone who enjoyed the brief ‘Will And Grace’ reunion last month, as the cast could be about to star in a new revival of the classic 2000s sitcom.

Back in September, original cast members Eric McCormack, Debra Messing, Sean Hayes and Megan Mullally reprised their ‘Will And Grace’ characters for the 10-minute mini episode ‘Vote Honey’, in support of US presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

The video, which was shared on YouTube, got the thumbs up from ‘Will And Grace’ fans, and off the back of that critical acclaim, The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that NBC are in talks with producers about a potential 10-episode revival.

NBC declined to comment when approached by THR, who have cited “insiders” as saying the talks are in their “extremely early” stages, meaning fans probably shouldn’t get too excited.

Quite how a full revival would work is also a bit of a mystery, as the last episode of the show’s original run saw the titular characters drifting apart and eventually ending their friendship, only to come back together 18 years later when their children get engaged, after meeting on the first day of university.

After the last episode aired in 2006, the cast’s paths crossed many times, including when Eric briefly appeared in Debra’s show ‘The Mysteries Of Laura’, while she and Sean starred opposite one another in the musical theatre-based series, ‘Smash’.

The original cast of ‘Will And Grace’ met up for a reunion of sorts earlier this year - at the same TV special as the main stars of ‘Friends’ - though Debra Messing was unable to attend, due to a scheduling conflict.
