During the summer months, we tend to hear a lot of warnings against leaving dogs in cars, usually because the high temperatures can cause illness or death - but this is yet another reason why you don’t want to leave your family pet unattended.
A woman from Wayne, West Virginia left her two beloved canines in her car while she popped into Walmart, leaving the air conditioning on to ensure they didn’t get too hot.
This required her to leave the keys in her car, resulting in the dogs somehow disengaging the parking brake.
According to WSAZ, a witness saw the car rolling slowly towards her before jumping out of the way when she noticed a dog was behind the wheel.
The owner of the pups, a woman in her late 70s, was able to drive her vehicle home with minor damage.
