What better way to celebrate Women's History Month than having girls dress up as adorable mini-versions of our favourite female heroines? Our thoughts exactly.

From Malala Yousafzai to Michelle Obama, the iconic figures featuring in the 'Because Of Them, We Can' campaign have paved the way for future generations and for that the little girls are grateful.

Eunique Jones Gibson, the photographer and father-of-two who founded the series, told HuffPost UK Lifestyle that his work is designer "to refute stereotypes and build their self-esteem by connecting them to heroes past and present".

Originally envisaged to inspire children in the African American community, Eunique soon realised that children from all over the world need support and guidance.

As a result he has worked with more than 650 children over the past year from all walks of life. He created 365 images in total and decided to launch in Women's History Month.

"I realised that there is a battle going on in each neighbourhood, school and home, and society needs to work to strengthen the self-esteem of our young people," he told HuffPost UK Lifestyle.

"There are numerous issues that divide us, however, wouldn't it be great if worked together to inundate children all over with these messages of excellence, accomplishment and responsibility?"
