Norwegian students have posted images of a secret "World War II" bolthole online.

The discovery was made when housemates removed a secret door in the attic of the house, revealing a tiny room with small table, a map of Europe and a light that acted as an alarm.

The pictures, posted on Imgur, also show a note scribbled on card, which reads: "If you have a bad stomach, you do not have access"

Reddit users speculated as to the purpose of the room, with one suggesting that it may have been used to listen to British radio during the war. Another suggested it could have been used as a family hideout.
