One of last year's losers returns to the X Factor tonight to try again after being inspired by a rugby playing relative.
Carolynne Poole performs for the panel in a bid to win a second chance at success after Louis Walsh sent her home from the judges house's stage last year.
The 31-year-old from Huddersfield said she had nearly given up her dreams of stardom after a bad year.
She said: "Last year myself and my husband had been through IVF and it had failed, then my marriage was in tatters, I had lost him and I had lost the hope of a family and I had lost the hope of a career singing. I felt like there was no coming back from that".
She tells Walsh his rejection broke her heart, adding: "I'll be honest with you I felt pretty sorry for myself for a few months and my cousin dragged me out of bed and she plays rugby for England so I didn't argue with her. She took me rugby training and she told me to stop feeling sorry for myself, knocked a bit of sense into me and give me a bit of my fight back and just reminded me of the fighting Yorkshire lass that I thought I was."
And her version of Emeli Sande's, Clown impresses the judges with Gary Barlow telling her she could be "the dark horse of the competition".
