She may be one of the bookies’ favourites to win this year’s series of ‘The X Factor’, but Kiera Weathers’ chances suffered a blow during tonight’s (25 September) Bootcamp episode.

The 18-year-old barmaid divided the judges with her latest performance, as she tried to win a place at the Six Chair Challenge.
Simon Cowell confessed to hating her voice, following her rendition of Rixton’s ‘Me And My Broken Heart’.
Kiera Weathers failed to impress at Bootcamp
Rita Ora and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini were not exactly bowled over either, with the ‘R.I.P.’ hitmaker saying of her performance: “I think that song is so distinctive, I think it’s difficult to make it…”
“It almost has to be a guy, or something completely different” Cheryl interrupted.
“I don’t like her voice,” Simon concluded.
“You don’t?!” Cheryl asked.
“She was so nervous, I think nerves got the better of her,” Rita said.
But luckily for Kiera, she was given another chance, after the panel decided to put her through to the next round.
As the judges made their decisions about who should face the Six Chair Challenge, there was a tense moment for Holly Johnson.
Holly Johnson was originally told she was going home
The 27-year-old estate agent was dumped from the competition following her performance of Sam Smith’s ‘Like I Can’.
However, Rita soon realised she and the other judges were making a massive mistake by sending her home.
After being called back in to face the panel, Simon told her: Holly I just felt we owed you an explanation, because I could see on your face thinking, ‘how could I have done anymore?’
“I want to own up to the fact that I think we made a mistake.”
“It’s a yes!” Rita told the emotional but delighted contestant. “We’re sorry.”
Rita and Cheryl were delighted to give Holly another chance
Elsewhere, fellow bookies’ favourite Louisa Johnson proved to be a stand-out contestant from the second Bootcamp judges.
The 17-year-old student wowed the panel with her rendition of Sam Smith’s ‘Lay Me Down’, leaving one judge in particular very excited about her future in the competition.
“You just have to open the gate and let her go,” Cheryl remarked.
The remaining contestants will now face the Six Chair Challenge, as they all hope to win a place at Judges Houses.
‘The X Factor’ continues next Sunday (4 October) at 7pm on ITV.
