It's good news for X Factor fans harboring a crush on contestant Kye Sones - he's officially back on the market after breaking up with his girlfriend.
The singer - in Gary Barlow's Over 28s category - has ended his relationship with American beauty editor Halle Carlson ahead of this weekend's first live show.
A source told The Sun that he wants to concentrate on his career after finding success on the show.
An X Factor spokesperson has since confirmed the news to The Sun, saying: "‘Kye and Halle split. They remain good friends."
However there is one lady who has caught Kye's eye since appearing on the show - guest mentor Cheryl Cole.
Kye is said to have taken a fancy to the former full-time judge when she helped Gary Barlow pick his contestants at judges houses.
"If he had a second chance with Cheryl he’d jump at the chance," the source added.
Kye's good looks and smooth vocals have so far made him a hit with female fans of the show, but there has been much speculation on Twitter as to whether the chimney sweep has a penchant for eyeliner.
However, he silenced the rumours on Twitter yesterday, when he wrote: "4 the record I don't wear guy liner/eye liner. Just have long dark eyelashes!However #kyeliner will b on sale when I learn how to bottle it."
